About the position We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead and mentor our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps teams. This position calls for a passionate engineer with deep technical expertise who can provide strong technical guidance at the management level. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, resiliency, scalability, and automation of our systems and infrastructure while driving strategic transformation toward a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model. The ideal candidate will lead by example with a positive attitude, inspiring and bringing out the best in team members while promoting a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and mentor Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) / DevOps teams to ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure reliability, resiliency, scalability, and automation. Develop and implement strategies to transform our infrastructure and processes into a "Platform as a Service" (PaaS) model, enhancing efficiency and scalability Promote continuous improvement in system architecture, deployment, and operational processes through automation and innovative solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance systems, ensuring alignment with business goals. Oversee the development and implementation of monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies to ensure rapid detection and resolution of issues. Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the teams. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in all aspects of infrastructure and operations. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining high availability and performance. Provide technical leadership and guidance in the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve system reliability and efficiency. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, with a focus on SRE and DevOps Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation Proactive, results-oriented, and committed to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning Technical Skills Strong understanding of cloud and experience with cloud-native technologies Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins) Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Solid knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices Leadership Skills Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing technical teams Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

The Engineering Manager role requires an engineer at heart that is able to lead and guide engineering teams towards the creation of outstanding products and services. The role requires a deep technical expertise allowing the teams to have a strong technical guidance at management level. You need to be able to manage and lead by example with a positive attitude bringing out the best of people. Your future job Manage a team of talented engineers by providing mentorship Lead by example and earning trust through the excellence of team deliverables Be a technical advisor and contributor as much as needed, helping your team and other teams Be able to communicate and manage efficiently different stakeholders Promote best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm Contribute to the whole development cycle, analysis, implementation, testing and operation What's expected from you: Computer Science degree or related IT field experience Minimum of 5 years of experience developing or operating large scale web applications Strong understanding of Design Patterns (particularly within the Microservice Architecture) Strong experience developing and maintaining Cloud Native applications Strong experience with NoSQL DBs (ex: Mongo) Strong CI/CD experience Experience working with Agile methodologies Experience building strong, effective engineering teams through hiring, coaching and mentoring, especially on fast growing company Personal Traits: Be able to manage and coach remote employees effectively Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams and stakeholders Proactive Ownership for the projects delivered by your team A continuous eye for improvement on existing processes Clear communication and collaboration skills Provides mentorship for team members Excellent analytical / problem- solving ability Good reasons to join us: Integration in a team of more than 100 IT members International company Hybrid work model Real sense of community/close-knit office
