adidas Global Business Services (GBS) is the engine to drive the transformation to ONE adidas. It is the company's operational backbone, through delivering standard global services, focusing on enhancing customer user experience, and providing consistent skills and quality.
This is a key GBS Porto management position for adidas. Along with the team, main responsibilities comprise driving of Tactical Procurement activity for Europe, North America and Latin America regions. Our leader will have active participation on developing purchasing competences and driving continuous improvement of organizational capabilities and processes. Among other, the person will support on top customer/ user satisfaction by consistently providing savings, compliance, customer support and timely delivery of reports and analyses across all Purchasing categories (e. g.: Marketing, IT, Professional Services, Facilities).
- Manage a team by consistently providing hands-on coaching, training, motivation and performance appraisal guidance;
- Proactively drive productive relationships with key business partners, users and stakeholders;
- Support the E2E process improvement and manage day to day tactical buying activities;
- Ensure accurate and timely regular reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual);
- Guaranteeing full process compliance: drive policy improvement and adherence at both, customer and day to day operations;
- Generate and implement ideas for process improvements as well as to performance and to quality work;
- Full driving of e-commerce, e-auctions and automation initiatives.

Perfil

- Experience on strategical and/ or Tactical purchases, preferably in Shared Services environments;
- Experience on team management;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Process orientation;
- Enthusiastic and results-driven;
- Self-motivated and team player;
- Management skills and effective communicator;
- Strong customer orientation;
- Knowledge of process management and continuous improvement methodologies;
- Experience with ERPs, ideally with SAP / Ariba and ticketing solutions;
- Full familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools;
- Able to read, write and communicate fluently in English;
- Availability to travel.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar;
- Work experience in a similar function;
- Basic experience within supplier selection, negotiation and contracting.
