ROLE Reporting to the Finance Operations Supervisor, you will have an important role within the financial operations of the business. Working together with the finance team to achieve the department and team goals, ensuring efficient, timely and accurate information. ROLE An exciting opportunity to join the Tax Team of a dynamic, fast-growing, technology business, supporting the expansion of the group and improving assurance on indirect tax, mainly VAT, applicable to the Group. Reporting to the ITX/VAT Compliance Manager, you will have a mixed role between EU and UK VAT compliance and the rest of the world's indirect tax compliance obligations related to the companies of the FARFETCH Group. You will be responsible for handling indirect tax compliance matters, supporting the team in the communication with Local Tax Authorities on audits, dealing with external compliance providers, and, as needed, providing technical support in compliance procedures and improvements to our internal teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO Review indirect tax returns prepared by our consultants for accuracy and issues. Work to ensure all indirect tax returns, payments, reconciliations, assessments, notices and audits are concluded on time. Provide day-to-day support to FARFETCH on indirect tax compliance matters. Maintain good working knowledge of indirect tax compliance legislation and procedures.WHO YOU ARE Degree in finance or accounting, who is committed to building a career in tax. Fluent in English (written and spoken). An excellent teamwork player and able to interact with different departments. Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Dynamic and proactive with a high sense of responsibility and autonomy.
