Role
This role is responsible for managing, improving and control Browns studios and process, have a direct report to Production Manger
 What you will do

Be responsible for communicating strategy to his department/ team and translating it into operational and tactic plans, approved by the production manager;
Be capable of forecasting challenges in the operational area as well as coming up with liable solutions, by planning actions at short and medium term;
Account for career development, performance management and training, based on the institutional structures settled;
Handling and solving any issues spotted by the team as well as setting in motion specific guidance/ action plans;
Give direct support in specific cases/ issues that demand more professional background experience;
Manage and control the product flow and digital content in the Browns studios including logistic area;
Follow up on productivity/ quality key reports related to the established metrics and identify potential improvements. Look for solutions defined by high risk areas and leads strategic operating plans;
Help defining Budget according to the Production Manager’s criteria;
Analyze and manage the available budget for supplies and submit all buys to the production manager’s approval;
Define and meet the deadline for all direct reports PDP, within the company’s/ local management guidance;
Receive guidelines for managing vacations and shift plans established by the production manager, and put them into practice within the defined deadlines by the company;
Monitor and send over all extra hours and employee absenteeism to the People Team department;
Interview candidates with the People Team support in order to attend the forecast needs or any other extra needs reported by the Production Manager;
Communicate with the other departments/ teams by exchanging critical information on the areas/activities or management procedures;  
Inspire and positively drive the team as an example to be followed;  
Promote a continuous improvement culture in his course of action.

 
Who you are

Passionate for photography and the fashion industry;
Experienced in working in a consumer focused environment;

A professional with 3 years of experience within a fast-paced production environment (preferred);
Experienced working with photographers and stylists (preferred);
Able to prove that can work with large schedules and interpret forecasts (preferred);
Able to show proven record of managing multiple projects within budget and time constraints (preferred);
Excellent at prioritization and timing;
Well-organized and proactive;
Experienced as a team leader/people manager;
A promoter of team work;
A good communicator;
A good problem solver;                    
Oriented to detail;
Fluent in both written and verbal English (mandatory);
Fluent in both written and verbal Portuguese (preferred);
An individual with commercial spirit;
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, power point);
Knowledgeable in Kaizen methodologies;
Graduate of a high school or a higher level educational program.
